100 Level - No experience necessary

Let's make your mark! In this XP you'll be designing a logo to represent your genius work! A logo should quickly capture the viewer's attention and convey a simple message, idea, or identity.

Think about the 1 or 2 colors you want to represent you as a designer. Brainstorm around the idea of representing your work in one simple image or icon. Is there a symbol that represents you? Like a pencil, needle and thread? or light bulb? Or maybe you want to make it more personal? maybe your initials? The possibilities are endless! Remember, the most powerful logos are simple, not complex. You want it to be clear as small as a quarter or as large as a billboard. How can you use basic elements and related colors to share that concept quickly with other people?

Trouble getting started? Research your favorite brands and look at their logos and see if it helps you think about making your own mark.
