ideaSpark Coding Club: Intro to Python Game Development (Grades 5-8)
Bold Idea
In this course, students in 5th to 8th grades will learn how to create 2D video games they can share with friends. The program combines hands-on learning in the Python computer programming language with support from mentors who work in a technology field. Their first project is the classic arcade game, Breakout. Students will then design and code their own video game using creativity and their new Python programming skills.
